Agreement to Terms

By using the services of OakCare La Quinta Landscaping, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

Services Provided

OakCare La Quinta Landscaping provides professional landscaping services including but not limited to:

  • Lawn care and maintenance
  • Landscape design and installation
  • Hardscaping and outdoor construction
  • Irrigation and sprinkler system services
  • Tree and shrub care
  • Mulching and bed maintenance
  • Sod installation and lawn renovation
  • Landscape lighting installation

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time without notice.

Scheduling and Appointments

Service appointments are scheduled based on availability. We make every effort to arrive at the scheduled time, but weather conditions, equipment issues, or other unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. We will notify you as soon as possible if we need to reschedule. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance.

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made in writing. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. For recurring maintenance services, invoices are sent monthly and payment is due within 15 days of the invoice date. Late payments may be subject to a service fee of 1.5% per month. We reserve the right to suspend services for accounts with overdue balances.

Property Access

You agree to provide our team with clear access to the areas where services will be performed. This includes unlocking gates, moving vehicles if necessary, and ensuring pets are secured. If our crew cannot access your property on the scheduled day, you may be charged a trip fee. You are responsible for marking any underground utilities, sprinkler lines, or hidden obstacles before we begin work.

Liability and Warranties

We carry full liability insurance and take great care to protect your property. However, we are not responsible for damage to unmarked underground utilities, preexisting damage to hardscapes or structures, or issues caused by factors beyond our control such as extreme weather or soil conditions. For plant installations, we guarantee healthy plants at the time of installation. Plant survival after installation depends on proper watering and care, which is your responsibility unless you have contracted us for ongoing maintenance.

Estimates and Project Changes

All estimates are valid for 30 days from the date provided. The final cost may vary if project scope changes or if we encounter unexpected site conditions. We will notify you of any significant cost changes before proceeding with additional work. You have the right to approve or decline any changes that affect the total price.

Cancellation Policy

For one-time services, you may cancel up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment without penalty. For ongoing maintenance contracts, you may cancel with 30 days written notice. If you cancel a project after work has begun, you will be responsible for payment for all work completed up to that point, plus any materials ordered specifically for your project.

Dispute Resolution

If you have any concerns about our services, please contact us immediately so we can address the issue. We are committed to your satisfaction and will work with you to resolve any problems. If we cannot reach a resolution through direct communication, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify existing customers of any significant changes. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
